The latest revisions to USP <795> (nonsterile compounding) and USP <797> (sterile compounding), as well as official USP Chapter <800> (hazardous drug handling), require that entities identify a designated person(s) to be accountable and responsible for the operation and performance of the compounding facility and personnel, and to also ensure ongoing compliance with the Chapters.
